UPDATE: Daytime Closure Planned at U.S. 68x Little River Bridge in Cadiz Starting Wednesday, March 26
Debris removal expected to last about one week
PADUCAH, Ky. (Mar. 21, 2025) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) plans a week-long, daytime closure of the Little River Bridge on U.S. 68-Business/Canton Road in Trigg County, starting on Wednesday, March 26. (This has been updated since the previous advisory, and the start date delayed by two days.)
The bridge is located at the 1.615-mile marker near Cadiz City Park.
A crew will be using a long-reach excavator to remove debris lodged against bridge.
The closure will be from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. weekdays only from Wednesday, March 26 to Tuesday, April 1, weather permitting. There will be no closure on Saturday and Sunday.
Motorists may self-detour via KY 139/South Road and U.S. 68/Bypass Road.
Following work in Trigg County, the crew will move to Calloway County on approximately Wednesday, April 2 and remove debris lodged against the Rockhouse Creek Bridge on KY 464/West Fork Road. The bridge is located at the 10.252-mile marker on KY 464 between KY 783/Airport Road and U.S. 641, west of the Almo community.
