Lane Closures Scheduled for I-275 Combs-Hehl Bridge in Campbell County on Tuesday, Feb. 18
Contractors will collect measurements for upcoming steel repair project
COVINGTON, Ky. (Feb. 14, 2025) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) District 6 Office advises motorists of scheduled lane closures on the Combs-Hehl Bridge (mile points 73.3 – 73.1), on Tuesday, Feb. 18. The bridge, which carries Interstate 275 over the Ohio River in Campbell County, will undergo preliminary evaluation ahead of an upcoming steel repair project.
To prepare for the upcoming project, contractors will collect measurements for steel fabrication during the closures. The following traffic impacts are scheduled:
- I-275 Eastbound: Right lane and shoulder closure from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The steel repair project is expected to begin in June. KYTC will provide further details, including the construction schedule and additional traffic impacts, as plans are finalized.
Motorists are encouraged to use caution in the work zone and watch for crews and equipment.
Weather permitting, this work is scheduled to be completed on Tuesday, Feb. 18 at 3 p.m.
