UPDATE: Panther Creek Bridge at the 11.021 MM on KY 280/Speaker Trail in Calloway County is Open
PADUCAH, Ky. (Feb. 7, 2025) – Panther Creek Bridge at the 11.021 MM on KY 280/Speaker Trail in Calloway County is open.
The bridge was closed on Dec. 20, 2024, due to extensive erosion damage and deterioration of the substructure.
A KYTC District 1 crew has completed all necessary repairs to reopen the bridge, although some final concrete work under the bridge will likely be scheduled this summer.
This section of KY 280 carries approximately 294 vehicles per day.
