TRAFFIC ADVISORY: KY 329 and KY 329B (Veterans Memorial Parkway) Traffic Signal Activation Scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 15, in Oldham County
Motorists advised to use caution when traveling near the newly signalized intersection
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Jan. 14, 2025) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) announces the activation of a new traffic signal at the intersection of KY 329 and KY 329B (Veterans Memorial Parkway) tomorrow, Jan. 15, in Oldham County. Signal activation work is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m., with the signal expected to be operational by 11 a.m.
To prepare motorists for the traffic pattern change, temporary electronic message boards were installed near the intersection, and updated pavement markings reflecting the new signal are in place. Drivers are advised to use caution when traveling through the area and to follow the new traffic pattern once it is in effect.
This traffic signal activation is a key milestone in the $4.3 million project to widen and realign KY 329 at the KY 329B intersection. Work on the project began in November 2023 and is anticipated to be completed this Spring.
