U.S. 68X Adams and Kentucky Street in Bowling Green Set for Temporary Closure for Utility Work
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (Dec. 16, 2024) – Bowling Green Municipal Utilities will temporarily close a section of U.S. 68X Adams and Kentucky Street in Bowling Green. The closure dates and times are listed below. However, the work is weather- dependent and schedules could change.
Tuesday, Dec. 16
- U.S. 68X Adams Street - The street will close on Tuesday, Dec. 17 at 6 a.m. between 12th and 14th Avenue. The roadway will reopen with lane closures on Thursday, Dec. 19. Detour signs will be in place. Motorists should follow U.S. 68 Veterans Memorial.
Thursday, Dec. 19
- U.S. 68X Adams Street - The street will be open, but with one lane only between 12th and 14th Avenue beginning Thursday, Dec. 19. The lane closures will be in place for several days.
Monday, Dec. 30
- U.S. 68X Kentucky Street - The street will completely close between 13th and 11th Avenue Monday, Dec. 30 at 6 a.m. The road is expected to remain completely closed for about a week. Motorists should use 13th Avenue to Center Street to 11th Street as the detour. Detour signs will be in place.
