UPDATE: Restrictions on Fairview Drive North in Owensboro to Continue Through Next Week
Work now expected to last through Dec. 19
MADISONVILLE, Ky. (Dec. 12, 2024) – Restrictions on Fairview Drive North in Owensboro, originally scheduled to be completed by tomorrow, Friday, Dec. 13, will continue into next week following some delays.
The right lane of southbound Fairview Drive North at its intersection with KY 54 (3.3 mm) will remain blocked to allow crews to conduct boring work along the shoulder of the roadway. This project is needed to allow the relocation of buried utilities in that area.
Motorists on Fairview Drive will use the "left turn only" lane to turn in either direction or to continue straight onto KY 3143 (Fairview Drive South).
Work is now expected to be completed by Thursday, Dec. 19.
