PADUCAH, Ky. (Dec. 2, 2024) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is closing the U.S. 45 Ohio River "Brookport" Bridge in Paducah overnight due to severe weather.
Motorists should detour via the Interstate 24 Ohio River Bridge.
KYTC D1 will provide timely updates when the bridge reopens.
Also known as the Irvin S. Cobb Bridge, the U.S. 45 Ohio River Bridge carries just over 6,000 vehicles across the Ohio River each day between Paducah, KY, and Brookport, IL.
