Traffic Impacts on Decoursey Pike (KY 177) in Kenton County for Utility Project
Crews will work between 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
COVINGTON, Ky. (Nov. 20, 2024) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of traffic impacts on Decoursey Pike (KY 177) in Kenton County due to an ongoing utility project.
Utility crews will be working on Decoursey Pike from Locust Pike (KY 1930) (17.61 mile point) to Wolf Road (16.0 mile point), a distance of 1.61 miles. Crews will work between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Motorists should expect various single lane closures throughout the area, and in some areas, a full road closure will be in place. Local traffic will be permitted through the work zone. Through traffic can detour using Locust Pike to Decoursey Pike.
This work is being performed by Duke Energy under an approved KYTC permit. Any questions related to the project should be directed toward Duke Energy.
Weather permitting, this project is expected to be completed Friday, Dec. 20.
