KY 437 in Morgan County to be closed

Wednesday, Nov. 6

 

JACKSON, Ky.  Drivers who use KY 437 (WIlliams Creek) near Dingus in Morgan County will need to find an alternate route on Wednesday, Nov. 6. The road will be closed at milepoint 4.7 for replacement of a drainage pipe. Work will begin at 8:30 a.m. and should be completed by 2:30 p.m. This location is just west of Lick Branch Road.

No marked detour will be posted. Drivers can use KY 172 and KY 589 as an alternate route to bypass the closure.

In case of inclement weather, the closure may be postponed until another suitable date.

Fewer than 650 vehicles use this section of KY 437 each day.
