GRANT - KENTON COUNTIES:

Interstate 75 – 164 – 169.4 mile points – A resurfacing project on I-75 from one mile south of the Crittenden exit to the Boone/Kenton Co. line is now complete. Crews performed pavement repairs and resurfacing, drainage repairs, guardrail work, cross slope correction and erosion repairs.
CAMPBELL COUNTY:

Tollgate Road (KY 2924) – 0.0 – 2.75 mile point – A resurfacing project on Tollgate Road beginning at Alexandria Pike (U.S. 27) extending east to Licking Pike (KY 915) is in progress.
Base failure repairs were completed on Friday, Oct. 18. Contractors returned to the project limits on Thursday, Oct. 24, to mill the existing road surface. Paving operations will follow in the coming weeks.
The contractors will be on-site between the hours of 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. Motorists should expect single lane closures during these daytime working hours. Flaggers will be on-site to direct traffic.
The project is expected to be completed later this year.
- Combs-Hehl Bridge – 73.1 – 73.3 mile point – A routine bridge inspection on the Combs-Hehl Bridge, which carries I-275 over the Ohio river, is now complete.
CARROLL COUNTY:

Ghent Sanders Road (KY 47) – 4.17 – 9.05 mile point – A resurfacing project on Ghent Sanders Road from KY 2984 to the railroad crossing south of Ghent is now complete.
- KY 389 – 1.89 – 3.56 mile points – A resurfacing project on KY 389 is scheduled to begin on Monday, Oct. 28. Crews will resurface KY 389 from Camp Branch Road extending northerly to the railroad tracks in English. Work will be performed during daylight hours. Weather permitting, crews will begin milling on Monday, Oct. 28. Paving operations are expected to begin Tuesday, Oct. 29. The contractor anticipates the project to take about three days of work. Expect single lane closures with flaggers guiding traffic safely through the work zone. The project is expected to be completed by Nov. 15, 2024.
GALLATIN COUNTY:
KENTON COUNTY:

Bracht-Piner Road (KY 14) – 0.0 – 3.26 mile points – A resurfacing project on Bracht-Piner Road is scheduled to begin on Monday, Oct. 28. Crews will resurface Bracht-Piner Road from Dixie Highway (U.S. 25) to Madison Pike (KY 17). Crews will work between the hours of 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. Expect single lane closures with flaggers used on both sides of the work zone to guide traffic safely through the project area. Weather permitting, crews will begin work on base failures on Monday, Oct. 28. Base failure work should take several days. Milling/paving operations are expected to begin the week of Monday, Nov. 4. The project is expected to be completed late 2024.
- Banklick Road (KY 2043) – 5.80 – 7.97 mile points – A resurfacing project on Banklick Road from Walton Nicholson Road (KY 16) extending north to just south of Wright Road is now complete.
OWEN COUNTY:

Claxon Ridge Road (KY 607) – 1.0 – 7.66 mile points – A resurfacing project on Claxon Ridge Road from U.S. 127 to KY 227 is now complete.
- Gratz Road (KY 22) – 6.01 – 9.46 mile point – A resurfacing project on Gratz Road from east of Squiresville Road (KY 1982) to South Main Street (U.S. 127) is now complete.
PENDLETON COUNTY:

KY 1054 – 3.52 – 8.05 mile point – A resurfacing project on KY 1054 from KY 330 extending northerly to KY 22 will begin on Monday, Oct. 21.
Contractors will be on-site between the hours of 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. Motorists should expect single lane closures during these daytime working hours. Flaggers will be in place to guide traffic around the work zone.
The project is expected to be completed later this year.
