UPDATE: Paving Project on KY 107 in Hopkinsville Delayed
Expected to be completed in three weeks
MADISONVILLE, Ky. (Oct. 22, 2024) – A paving project scheduled to begin today in Hopkinsville has been delayed until Friday, Oct. 25.

MADISONVILLE, Ky. (Oct. 17, 2024) – A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to pave around four miles of KY 107 (Lafayette Road) in Hopkinsville beginning Tuesday.
Work will begin on Tuesday, Oct. 22 at the intersections of U.S. 68 Business and KY 107 (Lafayette Road) at the 15.7 mile point and progress northward to East 18th Street, where KY 107 splits into a pair of one-way roads, South Main Street and South Virginia Street. Milling and paving operations will continue to follow the northbound section of the highway (S. Virginia Street) to East 9th Street (U.S. 68/U.S. 41) at the 18.8 mp.
When the northbound segment of KY 107 is completed, work will move to the southbound one-way section along South Main Street, progressing southbound to East 18th Street.
On street parking along these routes will be briefly prohibited in various locations during milling and paving. Motorists are asked to seek alternative routes during this process.
The project is expected to take around three weeks to complete.
