Interstate 75 Southbound rest area now open in
Scott County
The rest area is located between MP 127 and 128
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Sept. 28, 2024) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists that the Southbound rest area in Scott County is now open. The rest area was temporarily closed due to an electrical outage as the result of inclement weather.

Interstate 75
- the Southbound rest area (building) is open between milepoints 127 and 128
- the parking lot is open
All work and/or closures are scheduled on a tentative basis, and subject to change depending on weather conditions, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
District 7 includes Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Fayette, Garrard, Jessamine, Madison, Mercer, Montgomery, Scott and Woodford Counties.
