TRAFFIC ADVISORY: I-71 North Ramp Closures Beginning Tonight, Sept. 6, in Oldham County
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Sept. 6, 2024) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of ramp closures on Interstate 71 North beginning tonight, Sept. 6, in Oldham County.
As part of the ongoing roadway rehabilitation project in Oldham County from mile marker 18 (near KY 393) to mile marker 22 (near South First Avenue), the I-71 North off-ramp to KY 393 (Exit 18) and the I-71 North on-ramp from KY 393 will be closed from 7 p.m. tonight, Sept. 6, through 7 a.m. Monday, Sept. 9. Additionally, the I-71 North on-ramp from South First Avenue will be closed from 7 p.m. tonight, Sept. 6, through 7 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 8.
Motorists should follow the posted detour and plan ahead when traveling.
