CSX Schedules Crossing Repairs for Two Locations in Gallatin County
Signed detours will be in place to warn motorists of closures
COVINGTON, Ky. (Sept. 6, 2024) – CSX Transportation has scheduled two locations for crossing repairs on the railway in Gallatin County.
Schedule of Work:
- U.S. 127 (Main Street) in Glencoe – mile point 0.62 – Beginning Monday, Sept. 9 at 9 a.m., until Friday, Sept. 13 at 5 p.m.
- KY 35 (Main Street) in Sparta – mile point 0.04 – Beginning Monday, Sept. 16 at 9 a.m., until Friday, Sept. 20 at 5 p.m.
- Detour: KY 467 to U.S. 127
Signed detours will be in place for both locations. This work is being performed by CSX Transportation under an approved Kentucky Transportation Cabinet permit.
