UPDATE: I-24 Welcome Center Temporarily Closed Near Kentucky-Tennessee Line
Rest area reopened
MADISONVILLE, Ky. (August 20, 2024) – The Christian County Welcome Center and restrooms along I-24 westbound at mile marker 92 in Oak Grove have reopened.

MADISONVILLE, Ky. (August 13, 2024) – The Christian County Welcome Center along I-24 westbound at mile marker 92 in Oak Grove will be temporarily closed to the public due to plumbing issues.
The Welcome Center closed this afternoon and could remain closed for up to a week.
The rest area parking lots will remain open for both passenger cars and large vehicles, but the restroom facilities are currently closed. Portable toilets are scheduled to be delivered tomorrow, Wednesday, August 14.
Motorists should plan their travel accordingly and use alternative rest stops during this period.
