TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Lane Closures on KY 146 (La Grange Road) Beginning Today, Aug. 16, in Henry County
Contract crews to perform bridge repairs
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Aug. 16, 2024) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of lane closures on KY 146 (La Grange Road) beginning Friday, Aug. 16, in Henry County, as part of the ongoing realignment and widening project.
KY 146 (La Grange Road) will be reduced to one lane from mile point 2.82 to mile point 2.98 (at the Little Kentucky River Bridge) beginning Friday, Aug. 16, through Monday, Sept. 16, at 8 a.m. The lane closures are necessary as contract crews work to apply a latex overlay to the bridge. This treatment will extend the structure’s lifespan and improve roadway drivability.
Temporary signals will be placed to direct traffic through the work zone. Motorists should heed the temporary signals, follow posted signage and reduce speed when navigating through the work zone.
The KY 146 realignment and widening project is expected to be completed this fall.
