Resurfacing Project on KY 355 in Owen County Beginning Wednesday, July 24
Daytime single lane closures expected in project area
COVINGTON, Ky. (July 23, 2024) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) District 6 Office announces a resurfacing project on KY 355 in Owen County will begin on Wednesday, July 24.
Crews will be working on KY 355 just north of Harlan Street (6.56 mile point) extending north to KY 227 (18.92 mile point), a distance of 12.36 miles.
Weather permitting, milling and paving operations will begin on Wednesday, July 24.
The contractor will be on-site between the hours of 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. Motorists should expect single lane closures during these daytime working hours. Flaggers will be in place to guide traffic safely through the work zone.
Please drive carefully through the project area. Motorists are advised to find an alternate route to avoid potential delays.
The project is being done by Hinkle Contracting Company LLC under a $1,224,741.66 low-bid Transportation Cabinet contract. The project has an expected completion date of Nov. 15, 2024.
