Mannington Ramp from U.S. 41 to Pennyrile Parkway NB to Close July 8
Duration is expected to be around 60 days
MADISONVILLE, Ky. (July 3, 2024) – A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to close the U.S. 41 ramp to northbound Pennyrile Parkway at Mannington beginning Monday.
The closure is anticipated to last for around 60 days as work is conducted to rehab the ramp to interstate standards as part of the ongoing process to convert the Pennyrile Parkway to Interstate 169.
Motorists can detour around the closure by continuing northbound on U.S. 41 to U.S. 62 in Nortonville. This route does include limitations for over-weight and over-dimensional loads at the East Louisville Avenue bridge at the 4.85 mile point. Vehicles with potential conflicts should seek a different route.
Appropriate caution is required where equipment, flaggers, and personnel are along the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow.
