Resurfacing Project on Crescent Springs Pike/Anderson Road (KY 2373) in Kenton County to Begin Thursday, June 27
Daytime single lane closure within project limits
COVINGTON, Ky. (June 26, 2024) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) District 6 Office announces a resurfacing project on Crescent Springs Pike/Anderson Road (KY 2373) in Kenton County will begin Thursday, June 27.
Crews will be working on Crescent Springs Pike/Anderson Road beginning at the Interstate 275 overpass (0.95 mile point) extending north to Beechwood Road (3.11 mile point), a distance of 2.16 miles.
Weather permitting, contractors will be working on base failure repairs on Thursday, June 27, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should expect single lane closures during these daytime working hours. Flaggers will be in place to guide traffic safely through the work zone.
Once the base failure repairs have cured, crews will return to the site to perform milling and paving operations, as well as sidewalk work. We will provide an update via our District 6 Roadshow once that work is scheduled.
Please drive carefully through the project area. Motorists are advised to find an alternate route to avoid potential delays.
The project is being done by Riegler Blacktop, Inc., under a $539,971 low-bid Kentucky Transportation Cabinet contract. Weather permitting, the project has an expected completion date of Nov. 15, 2024.
The date, time, and duration of work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur. Motorists can get Northern Kentucky road construction updates on the District 6 Roadshow.
