TRAFFIC ADVISORY: KY 864 (Poplar Level Road) Bridge Inspection Thursday, June 27, in Jefferson County
Lane closures on I-264 scheduled
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (June 25, 2024) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of the routine inspection of the KY 864 (Poplar Level Road) bridge over Interstate 264 (Watterson Expressway) scheduled for Thursday, June 27, in Jefferson County.
KYTC bridge engineers will conduct a hands-on inspection of the KY 864 bridge over I-264 on Thursday, June 27, requiring lane closures on the interstate. The left two lanes on I-264 East and West will be closed from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and the right two lanes will be closed from 7 to 11 p.m. Crews will begin with the eastbound side then mobilize to the westbound side.
Motorists are advised to heed signage, use caution and expect delays when traveling through the work zone.
