Paving Operations Begin this week on KY 7 in Letcher County
PIKEVILLE, Ky.(June 14, 2024) The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet advises motorists of lane closures and delays for paving operations on KY 7 in Letcher County starting this week.
Work will begin on Friday, June 14, along KY 7 at mp 0.0 (Letcher/Perry Line) and continue through mile point 2.6 (Redstar Area). Operations will occur from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. through June 20. Schedules are subject to weather conditions.
Motorists will need to plan ahead for delays and seek alternate routes during peak travel times. Onsite Flaggers will control traffic.
Mountain Enterprises has been contracted to perform the work. Please watch for signage and crew in the work zone.
