District 3 Water Over the Road Report 7 p.m.
All state roads in the District 3 area have reopened.
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (May 13, 2024) – All flooded roads on state routes in the District 3 area have reopened. Multiple state roads in multiple counties had been closed at different times following a storm system that moved through the area on Wednesday.
More rain is in the forecast this week beginning tonight. With the ground already saturated and water ways at full capacity, some roads may be closed again should heavy rain move into the area.
Motorists should use caution and be on the look out for flooded roads should a rain weather system come into the District 3 area. Crews will be on standby and checking roads as needed. Please do not attempt to drive through possible high water.
