Cross Drain Operations Begin Monday, May 13 on a Section of KY 89 in Jackson County
MANCHESTER, Ky. (May 12, 2024) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists that a section of KY 89 in Jackson County between the Rockcastle and Jackson County line (mile point 0.0), and intersection with Gates Hollow Road (mile point 3.380), will be closed to through traffic starting on Monday, May 13 and ending on Thursday, May 16.
The road closure will begin at 8 a.m. and end at 5 p.m. each day. The road closure is needed for cross drain replacement.
KYTC asks motorists to be aware of the work zone, expect significant delays, and to utilize safe driving habits when traveling through the area.
