Traffic Advisory: Lane Closures on I-75 Scheduled for Thursday Night

LEXINGTON, Ky. (May 9, 2024) – Continued work to widen Interstate 75 will require temporary lane closures Thursday night on the interstate between mile markers 114 and 111, roughly between the Russell Cave Road overpass and the I-64/I-75 southern split. Details:
Thursday, May 9 through Friday, May 10 – 8 p.m. Thursday until 6 a.m. Friday
Interstate 64/Interstate 75 - Northbound
- a double lane closure will be in effect between Russell Cave Road/KY 353 (milepoint 114) and the I 64/I 75 Interchange (milepoint 111)
- three lane shifts will also be in effect
- motorists should expect heavy traffic delays and use alternate routes if possible
District 7 includes: Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Fayette, Garrard, Jessamine, Madison, Mercer, Montgomery, Scott and Woodford Counties
