Improvement project continues for South Broadway/US 68 in Fayette County
Widening of outside thru lane
LEXINGTON, Ky. (April 29, 2024) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists that the improvement project continues for South Broadway/US 68. The work includes widening an outside thru lane for South Broadway/US 68. The plan will allow for an extended US 68 northbound left turn lane onto Red Mile Road.
Monday, April 29 – currently and until approximately 6 p.m. this evening
South Broadway/US 68
- a lane closure will be in effect between milepoints 5.539 and 5.639
- motorists will be able to pass through the work zone
Motorists are advised to utilize an alternate route and avoid South Broadway/US 68 northbound this evening.
All work/closures are scheduled on a tentative basis, and subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
District 7 includes: Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Fayette, Garrard, Jessamine, Madison, Mercer, Montgomery, Scott and Woodford Counties
