Pothole repairs scheduled for Interstate 75 SB in Fayette County
District 7 Fayette County Maintenance with LFUCG law enforcement
LEXINGTON, Ky. (April 23, 2024) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of scheduled pothole repair operations. Rolling roadblocks (a mobile operation) will be utilized for the work. LFUCG law enforcement will be assisting with traffic control.
Wednesday, April 24 through Thursday, April 25 – 10 p.m. Wednesday until 6 a.m. Thursday
Interstate 75 – Southbound
- repairs will begin at the Fayette-Scott County line (milepoint 120.8) and progress to Newtown Pike/KY 922 (milepoint 115)
- three (3) lanes will be closed
The traveling public should utilize alternate routes if possible --- expect significant delays during the hours of scheduled repair operations for the interstate.

All work/closures are scheduled on a tentative basis and subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
