Improvement project for South Broadway/US 69 in Fayette County
Widening of outside thru lane
LEXINGTON, Ky. (April 22, 2024) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of an improvement project scheduled for South Broadway/US 68. The work includes construction to widen an outside thru lane for South Broadway/US 68. The plan will allow for an extended US 68 northbound left turn lane onto Red Mile Road.
Tuesday, April 23 and Wednesday, April 24 – 8:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. both days
Thursday, April 25 through Friday, April 26 – 9 p.m. Thursday until 6 a.m. Friday
South Broadway/US 68
- a lane closure will be in effect between milepoints 5.539 and 5.639
- motorists will be able to pass through the work zone
All work/closures are scheduled on a tentative basis, and subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
District 7 includes: Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Fayette, Garrard, Jessamine, Madison, Mercer, Montgomery, Scott and Woodford Counties
