Lane Restriction on Pennyrile Parkway SB in Hopkinsville Starting Monday
KYTC to replace guardrail
MADISONVILLE, Ky. (April 19, 2024) – A section of the Pennyrile Parkway in Hopkinsville will be restricted to one lane on next week as the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet begins replacing a section of guardrail.
The southbound lane of the parkway will be restricted to one lane from the 11.5 mile marker, just south of the KY 1682/Bypass Road intersection, to the 10 mile marker, about a half mile north of the US 68 interchange.
Motorists should be alert for one lane traffic. Some delays are possible during the movement and placement of equipment to facilitate the work.
Appropriate caution is required where equipment, flaggers, and personnel are along the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow.
Work could last several days. An updated timeline on the project will be announced on Monday.
