Closure scheduled for Russell Cave Road/KY 353 in Fayette County

Drainage culvert replacement

LEXINGTON, Ky. (April 11, 2024)  The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of a scheduled closure for Russell Cave Road/KY 353 in Fayette County. The temporary closure is necessary for drainage culvert replacement operations.

Monday, April 15 through Friday, April 26 7 a.m. Monday until 7 a.m. Friday

Russell Cave Road/KY 353

  • a closure will be in effect between Greenwich Pike/KY 1876 (milepoint 6.746) and Lemons Mill Road/KY 1962 (milepoint 7.100)
  • all lanes will be closed

Detour

  • a signed detour will be in place for the traveling public to follow

All work/closures are scheduled on a tentative basis and subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways. 

District 7 includes:  Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Fayette, Garrard, Jessamine, Madison, Mercer, Montgomery, Scott and Woodford Counties
