Rolling Roadblock Taking Place on I-75 in Fayette County

Necessary for restoring power lines at mile point 104

LEXINGTON, Ky. (April 3, 2024) Motorists should watch for rolling roadblocks today on I-75 in Fayette County around the 104 mile marker as power company crews restore electric lines taken down during Tuesday’s storms.

Work and roadblocks are expected to begin around 1 p.m. Lexington law enforcement will be present to warn travelers of stopped or slowed traffic. Motorists should use caution and expect stopped traffic.

Southbound traffic may use Exit 108 (Man O War Boulevard) and northbound traffic may use Exit 99 (Old Richmond Road) to find an alternate route.

District 7 includes:  Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Fayette, Garrard, Jessamine, Madison, Mercer, Montgomery, Scott and Woodford Counties
