Update - Willisburg Road/KY 53 now open in Anderson County
Downed tree removed between
Bear Creek Road and Boston Goodlett Road
LEXINGTON, Ky. (April 2, 2024) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises that this news release serves as an update. Willisburg Road/KY 53 in Anderson County is now open. A portion of the route was blocked temporarily due to a downed tree. District 7 Anderson County Maintenance personnel worked to remove the tree from the roadway.

- the route is now open between Bear Creek Road (milepoint 5.5) and Boston Goodlett Road (milepoint 4.4)
All work/closures are subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
District 7 includes Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Fayette, Garrard, Jessamine, Madison, Mercer, Montgomery, Scott and Woodford Counties
