Traffic Advisory: Temporary KY 49 Closure
in Marion County Begins April 1st
ELIZABETHTOWN, Ky. (March 27, 2024) – Realigning a segment of KY 49 (North Loretto Road) in Marion County will require closure of the road for approximately 60 days beginning April 1st. The section is between Mile Markers 20-22 along Cissels Creek. The closure includes intersections with Cowherd Lane and Sam Browning Road.
A signed detour will be in effect using KY 84 and KY 327. Mobile message boards are in place along approaches to the area, notifying traffic of the upcoming closure.
