Tree Trimming/Removal Operations Will Begin Wednesday, March 27 on KY 2989 in Whitley County
MANCHESTER, Ky. (March 26, 2024) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists that tree trimming/removal operations will occur on KY 2989 (mile points 1.142 -1.416) in Whitley County beginning Wednesday, March 27.
This portion of the roadway will be closed to thru traffic Wednesday, March 27 and Thursday, March 28, from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day. until 4:30 PM each day.
KYTC asks motorists to be aware of the work zone, expect significant delays, and to utilize safe driving habits when traveling through the area.
The date, time, and duration of work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur.
