Rolling Roadblock on I-75 Southbound in Boone, Kenton and Grant Counties on Wednesday, March 20
Rolling roadblock needed for pothole patching from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
COVINGTON, Ky. (March 19, 2024) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) District 6 Office advises motorists of a rolling roadblock on Wednesday, March 20, on I-75 southbound in Boone, Kenton and Grant counties. Traffic will be temporarily slowed down and, at times, stopped to allow crews space to patch potholes.
The crew will be working on I-75 southbound between the Walton exit (mile marker 171) and the Dry Ridge exit (mile marker 159), a distance of 12 miles. Traffic will be stopped incrementally, for approximately 30 minutes at a time. The rolling roadblock is expected to begin at 9 a.m., and be completed by 11 a.m.
The pothole patching project will improve safety throughout the I-75 corridor.
Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead, and to find an alternate route during these hours to avoid delays.
The date, time, and duration of work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur. Motorists can get Northern Kentucky road construction updates on the District 6 Roadshow.
