Pipe replacement scheduled for Wednesday, Mar. 13, from 9–3 p.m.
KNOTT COUNTY (Mar. 11, 2024) The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet advises motorists of a daytime closure along KY 1098 in Knott County for a pipe replacement. The pipe is located at mile point 4.2 (4.2 miles South of the Knott/Breathitt County line) on Elmrock Decoy Rd.
Crews will replace the pipe between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Mar. 13, at the above location. The road will be closed during this time due to the size of equipment and space needed to complete the replacement. KYTC completed a replacement near this same location previously this week.
Motorists, including emergency vehicles, will need to use an alternate route and pay close attention to crew and signage in the area.
