Embankment Repair Project along US 460 Begins Next Week in Pike County

Crews will start Monday, Mar. 4 at 7 a.m. on Levisa Fork Rd near Toonerville

PIKE COUNTY (Mar. 4, 2024) The Kentucky Department of Transportation (KYTC) advises the public of an embankment repair project along US 460 in Pike County. The project site is located on Levisa Fork Rd near Toonerville, beginning at mile point 23.7 through mile point 24.7 (1.3 miles West of the KY/VA state line)

GSI, will begin repairs Monday, Mar. 4, at 7 a.m. Crews will work Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Traffic will be controlled by on-site portable signals and reduced to one lane with alternating flow. Motorists can expect longer delays when the drilling equipment is in use.

Motorists should prepare for delays and seek alternate routes during peak travel times. Please pay close attention to equipment and crews in the work zone and watch for signage.
