Tyrone Bridge now open
US 62 in Anderson and Woodford Counties
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Feb. 6, 2024) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists that this news release serves as an update. The Tyrone Bridge is now open. The bridge was previously closed for repair operations. The bridge is located in Anderson and Woodford Counties.

The Tyrone Bridge – US 62
- the bridge is now open to traffic
- the bridge location is between Anderson County (milepoint 22.1) and Woodford County (milepoint 0.1)
- a ten (10) ton weight limit is in effect for all vehicles crossing the bridge
- the weight limit includes cars, trucks, campers, etc.
All work/closures are scheduled on a tentative basis, and subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
District 7 includes: Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Fayette, Garrard, Jessamine, Madison, Mercer, Montgomery, Scott and Woodford Counties
