Public Meeting Scheduled for U.S. 27 Reconstruction Project in Lincoln County
SOMERSET, Ky. (Jan. 17, 2024) – A public informational meeting has been scheduled for the U.S. 27 reconstruction project in Lincoln County. The meeting will take place on Tuesday, Jan. 30 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Journey Community Church located at 38 Pin Oak Hill Stanford, KY 40484.
The proposed project involves the reconstruction of U.S. 27 from KY 1247 to Education Way. The purpose of this project is to reduce congestion and improve safety, capacity, and mobility.
Representatives from the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet along with consultant representatives will be available to share information, present proposed alternates, and answer questions. Handouts, containing information about the project, comment sheets, and displays will be available at the meeting. Input collected from local officials, stakeholders, and the community will be an important part of the decision-making process.
