UPDATE:  KY 2075/North 4th Street in Murray Blocked by Milk Tanker Crash and Spill

Estimated duration is extended 2 hours to approximately 10 a.m., CST

PADUCAH, Ky. (January 15, 2024)  Calloway County Emergency Management reports cleanup work is progressing at the site of a milk tanker crash and spill along a section of KY 2075/North 4th Street in Murray.

The crash is along KY 2075/North 4th Street at the 0.16 mile point.  This blockage is immediatly north of U.S. 641-Business/Chestnut Street in the Andrus Drive area.

Early reports indicated a loaded milk tanker was making the turn from Chestnut to head north on KY 2075/North 4th Street and lost control on the icy hill.  An estimated 3300 gallons of milk is reported spilled at the site.

Estimated duration is extended 2 hours to approximately 10 a.m., CST.

Motorists may detour via U.S. 641-Business/East Chestnut Street and U.S. 641 North/North 12th Street.
