Temporary closure scheduled for the Tyrone Bridge
US 62 in Anderson and Woodford Counties
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Dec. 23, 2023) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of a scheduled closure for the Tyrone Bridge located in Anderson and Woodford Counties. The temporary closure is necessary for repair operations.
Monday, January 8 through Sunday, January 28 – 7 a.m. Monday (January 8) until 7 a.m. Sunday (January 28)
US 62 – the Tyrone Bridge
- the bridge will be closed to all traffic
- the location of the bridge is between Anderson County (milepoint 22.1) and Woodford County (milepoint 0.1)
- motorists will need to utilize an alternate route
Alternate Route:
- US 60, the Bluegrass Parkway/KY 9002 and US 127
All work/closures are scheduled on a tentative basis, and subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
District 7 includes: Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Fayette, Garrard, Jessamine, Madison, Mercer, Montgomery, Scott and Woodford Counties
