Crews to pave interstate
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Dec. 14, 2023) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of daily lane and ramp closures on Interstate 71 North and South next week in Oldham County.
- I-71 North right lane from mile marker 14 (near the bridge over KY 329-B) to mile marker 18 (near the bridge over KY 393) will be closed from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday, December 18, and Tuesday, December 19. Additionally, the on-ramp from KY 146/LaGrange Road to I-71 North will be closed.
- I-71 South right lane from mile marker 18 (near the bridge over KY 393) to mile marker 14 (near the bridge over KY 329-B) will be closed from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, December 20, and Thursday, December 21.
- I-71 South left lane from mile marker 18 (near the bridge over KY 393) to mile marker 17 (near the bridge over KY 146/LaGrange Road) will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, December 22.
Motorists should heed restrictions, proceed through the work zone with caution, or seek an alternate route. The closures are necessary as crews work to pave the interstate.
