Pike County Emergency Management will perform a floodgate inspection on Thursday, Dec. 7, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m
PIKE COUNTY (Dec. 6, 2023) The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet advises motorists of a daytime closure along KY 292 in Pike County for floodgate inspection. The gate is located at mile point 5.5 (5.5 miles South of US 119) in South Williamson
Pike County Emergency Management will inspect the South Williamson Floodgate starting at 10 a.m. During this time, KY 292 will be closed at the gate and motorists will need to use an alternate route. The road is expected to reopen at 11 a.m.
Please watch for emergency personnel, traffic control, and equipment along the route.
