Traffic Switch on KY 536 (Mt. Zion Road) in Kenton County on Thursday, Nov. 30

Traffic switch needed to allow for pavement widening

COVINGTON, Ky. (Nov. 29, 2023) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 6 Office advises motorists of a traffic switch on Thursday, Nov. 30, on KY 536 (Mt. Zion Road). This traffic switch will take place west of Toebben Drive (mile point 14.31) to Bristow Road (mile point 1.05).

Traffic will shift to the north end of the bridge near Toebben Drive, and then remain on the new pavement until the first roundabout at Sigmon Lane (mile point 0.47). From there, traffic will split the roundabouts, and run in a single lane in each direction on either side of the center island.

Message boards are in place to warn motorists of the upcoming traffic switch.

The date, time, and duration of work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur. Motorists can get Northern Kentucky road construction updates on the District 6 Roadshow. Follow KYTC District 6 on Facebook or Twitter.
