FLOYD COUNTY (November 18, 2023) – CSX advises the public of a three-day closure for emergency rail repairs. CSX will close the crossing on KY 680 at Harold for emergency repairs. The site is located at mp 15.0 (.17 miles East of US 23) in Floyd County.
KY 680 will be closed at the crossing beginning at 7 a.m. Tuesday, November 28, through Thursday, November 30. CSX expects the crossing to possibly reopen sometime Wednesday afternoon. Motorists will need to use an alternate route during this time. Please pay close attention to the signage posted throughout the area. All inquiries should be directed to CSX.
