Closure of KY 1062/Maple Grove Rd for Memorial Sign Unveiling in Trigg County on Monday, Oct 23

PADUCAH, Ky. (October 18, 2023) – A section of KY 1062/Maple Grove Road in Trigg County will be closed on Monday morning, October 23, 2023.
KY 1062/Maple Grove Road will be closed at mile point 4.5 from 8 a.m., CDT, to about 11 a.m., on Monday, for a memorial sign unveiling event near the site where two 101st Airborne Division HH60 Blackhawk Helicopters Crashed.
The sign to honor crew members who died in the March 29 crash is located just south of the Lancaster Road intersection and approximately 8/10ths of a mile south of the KY 272/Canton Pike intersection.
KY 1062/Maple Grove Road will be closed between KY 272/Canton Pike and Oak Grove Church Road to allow parking for families and the public attending the memorial sign unveiling scheduled for 9:30 a.m., CDT, Monday. During this closure of KY 1062/Maple Grove Road motorists may detour via Oak Grove Church Road and Old Dover Road.
