Closure set for Thursday, Sep. 28, from 8:30 a.m. to midnight
PIKE COUNTY (Sept. 26, 2023) The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet advises motorists of an extended daytime closure along KY 612 in Pike County. The work site is located at mile point 4.5 on Long Branch Road (1.0 miles East of US 119) just below Sukey's Creek.
This project will replace an existing pipe with a new aluminum box culvert. Crews will remove the existing structure on Thursday, Sept. 28, at 8:30 a.m. after morning school traffic. Buses and all other motorists will need to use an alternate route for the evening commute. The road is expected to reopen at midnight.
Contect Engineering Solutions and KYTC will be performing the work. Work schedules are based on weather conditions.
