I-64 bridge inspections scheduled
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Aug. 17, 2023) –The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of lane and ramp closures taking place next week in Jefferson County.
The lane and ramp closures are necessary as consultant engineers continue to perform the required hands-on, two-year inspections of the 1.8 mile span of the I-64 bridges near downtown Louisville.
Motorists should use caution when traveling through the areas, adjust for increased travel times, and seek alternate routes by using navigation apps like Waze.

Monday, August 21, through Friday, August 25, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

near the Witherspoon Street intersection
Thursday, August 24, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

between mile marker 4.6 and mile marker 5.0
Tuesday, August 22, from 8 to 11 p.m.

between mile marker 4.6 and mile marker 5.0
Wednesday, August 23, from 8 to 11 p.m.
