CSX Schedules Crossing Repairs for Two Locations in Boone County Beginning Wednesday, August 2
Repairs will require road closures
COVINGTON, Ky. (July 31, 2023) – CSX Transportation has scheduled two locations for crossing repairs on the railway in Boone County.
Schedule of work:
US 25 (Dixie Hwy) – 1.0 mile marker – Starting Wednesday, Aug. 2, at 9 a.m. until Friday, Aug. 5, or until work is complete.
- Northbound Detour: U.S. 25 to KY 16 to I-75 northbound to Richwood Road (KY 338) to U.S. 25
- Southbound Detour: U.S 25 to Richwood Road (KY 338) to I-75 southbound to Walton-Verona (Exit 171) to U.S 25
KY 491 at the intersection of KY 14 and KY 16 – 2.5 mile marker – Starting Thursday, Aug. 3, at 9 a.m. until Monday, Aug. 6, or until work is complete.
- A signed detour of KY 14 to I-75 southbound to Crittenden (Exit 166) to KY 2363 to KY 491
