RailRoad Crossing Closure scheduled for KY 2566 Lawrence County
Monday, May 8 through Wednesday, May 10, Jefferson St crossing closed for emergency repairs
LAWRENCE COUNTY (May 5, 2023) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet advises the public of a three-day closure for railroad repairs. CSX will close the Railroad crossing on KY 2566 near Jefferson St. for emergency repairs. The site is located at mp 0.7 (.4 miles Northeast of KY 3) in Lawrence County.
KY 2566 will be closed Monday, May 8, through Wednesday, May 10, for tie removal and repairs at this location. Crews expect the crossing to reopen sometime Wednesday afternoon. Motorists will need to use an alternate route during this time. Please pay close attention to the signage posted throughout the area.
