Earle C. Clements Bridge Inspection Scheduled for KY 56 in Shawneetown
Inspection over the Ohio River begins Monday, April 10 in Union County
MADISONVILLE, Ky. (March 30, 2023) – A contractor plans to address an inspection of the bridge at Shawneetown over the the Ohio River in Union County, beginning Monday, April 10 with completion scheduled April 14, weather permitting.
Crews will be on site from 8:00 am - 3:00 pm.
Motorists should anticipate single lane closures while this work is addressed.
Crews will be utilizing an Under Bridge Inspection Truck (UBIT) in addition to the lane restrictions.
KYTC asks motorists to be aware of the work zone, expect delays, and to utilize safe driving habits when traveling through the area.
